October—November’s charity project involves making Hats for Kids in memory of David Ray, Melissa’s sweet little angel.
We give them to local schools that have a high rate of kids living below the poverty level. We will need several hundred hats again this year. Hats must be 19-20” around and 7-8” high in order to properly fit. With worsted weight yarn, cast on 96 sts if knitting. With DK yarn, cast on 104 sts. Hats must be turned in by Saturday, December 3. Won’t you help us by making a couple of hats to bless a child or two this Christmas.

What our customers are saying about us...
Sandy, finding your shop when I moved to Knoxville has made all the difference in my adjustment to being here. At 76, life gets more difficult and getting to know your knitters and you, being a small part of the Preemie Cap Challenge, and taking classes has made my days much more rewarding. Thank you.
We donated 130 hats plus a few other items to the boys and girls attending Eaton Elementary School. Here is the response we received:
"Oh my!!!!! Sandy, that is amazing! Thanks to all your folks for helping keep these precious little heads warm!"
Hi Sandy I know you don't know me but I personally wanted to thank you and your ladies for your donation of hats, gloves, sweaters for Two Rivers Church Eaton School Christmas blessing yesterday. Your donation was a big hit for the families. Everyone loved the hats. They were beautiful and what a great job of knitting your company does. When I was told we were getting your donation we were totally thrilled to say the least. God bless you and have a very Merry Christmas!
