Lace KAL...
The Lace group is going to begin working on a new spring project starting in February.  Come join us as we start working on one of Evelyn Clark's Shawls.  Kristina will be glad to help you choose one of her patterns and yarn that is a good match. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings from 6-8 pm. There is no charge for the knitalong (KAL), but please purchase your supplies from The Yarn Haven so we can continue to offer groups like this free of charge. New to lace knitting? Learn the fundamentals of lace knitting in one of our Weekly Classes, then you’ll have the skills to join our lace group as we continue to work on challenging & intricate projects.

I finished a shrug over the weekend and entered it in the Anderson County Fair.  I went by the displays last night and was excited to see that I had won first place.  I also entered a baby hat that I had knitted with Lisa's help in learning to translate a pattern from flat knitting into circular knitting.  I won first place on it also.  I was so excited!  I appreciate all the lessons, coaching, and encouragement you, your teachers, and your employees give.
