With this kit you can knit the Butterfly Cowl OR crochet the Cassandra Shawl!
 
Butterfly Cowl by Marin Melchior an “over the head” cowl pattern with a classic “V” shape…this is a little sampler of the Butterfly/Papillon Shawl pattern.  It was created to make a beautiful little pieceand dip your toes into the techniques of a larger project. Kit includes 1 skein of Uneek Fingering (100% superfine superwash merino) and 1 skein of Plymouth Happy Feet 100 (90% superwash merino wool/10% nylon.)  The pattern will be emailed to you as a free gift from The Yarn Haven.
 
Note:  You can use the colors as they come (like picture #1 with wood background) OR use a separate color in each of the shapes (like picture #2 with white background.)  Either way looks great!
 
Cassandra Shawl by Lily Go is a somewhat circular shawl. Because of the shape, this shawl can be worn in many ways. You can wrap it around your neck and shoulder easily, and will stay put without a shawl pin.
 
Cassandra Shawl is crocheted from the top down so you can always make it bigger by repeat rows 5- 16 as many as you want, as long as the total dc’s in row 31 after minus 4 is divisible by 6.  Photo Credit: Tcairn on Ravelry
