There are some adorable baby/toddler  knitted patterns in this booklet designed for Ella Rae Maypole yarns.  Unfortunately, Maypole yarn has been discontinued, but these patterns would work for any chunky weight, 100% polyester,  self-striping yarn that has 100 yards per skein.   I personally would use  James C. Brett Marble Chunky  yarn.  It has the same properties as Maypole and a LOT more yardage per skein.  This booklet has 7 patterns and are designed for ages 1-8 years old.
