Crocheted Felt Rug & Basket by Bev Galeskas
 
Two sizes given for each.  Sizes are approximate and will vary with the amount of felting.
 
Sizes: Rug - 22" x 36", 27" x 42" for larger size
Basket - 5" deep by 11" in diameter, 6" deep by 13" in diameter for larger size
 
Yardage: Super bulky weight in yarn that will felt well.  Holding a doulbe strand of bulky weight yarn may be substituted.
Rug in solid color: 575 yards or 860 yards for larger size
Rug in 3 or 4 color stripes as shown in picture, approximately:
120 (510 yards of color A (deep charcoal)
0 (170) yards of color B (charcoal heather)
350 (110) yards of color C (grey heather)
130 (120) yards of color D (prairie fire)
Basket in solid color: 200 yards or 300 yards for larger size
Basket in 3 or 4 color stripes as shown in picture, approximately:
55 (70) yards of color A (deep charcoal)
0 (60) yards of color B (charcoal heather)
25 (160) yards of color C (grey heather)
130 (30) yards of color D (prairie fire)
