Quick crochet elegant throw with the look of knit "feather and fan".
 
Finished Size: 40" x 50"
Baby Afghan: 28" x 32" or 34" x 44"
 
Yardage: 8 different worsted weight  yarns.  Try to incorporate at least 2 variegated yarns and use lots of different textures.  Use a mohair for color D, a boucle for color C, and a ribbon yarn for color H.  All yarns should come from the same palette.   Let the textural differences be the highlight of the piece.
Color A needs 400 yards
Color B needs 165 yards
Color C needs 100 yards
Color D needs 200 yards
Color E needs 140 yards
Color F needs 225 yards
Color G needs 150 yards
Color H needs 100 yards
For baby afghan, you will need 600 yards total of  2-4 different worsted weight yarns or 1000 yards for the larger size.
