The Yarn Haven has been through a number of heartaches in the past few years. It all started in early 2019 when our shop was partially destroyed by a flood. Then in 2020 we had to close our brick and mortar location all together because of a pandemic...and our sweet Lola died later that year. 2021 was a rough health year as I had to have 2 knee replacement surgeries and spent weeks and weeks in physical therapy after each surgery. I also had to work on fixing up our house as we prepared to move to Kingsport. And now that 2022 is almost here, another change is coming. I've decided to close the online shop. Let's face it...it's just not as much fun having a yarn shop when I don't get to see all of you!
But it's been an awesome 15 years of owning a yarn shop. Many of you over the years have become my good friends. But now that my hubby has retired, I think it's time for me to retire as well...at least from being a local yarn shop owner.
Believe it or not, I still don't have all of our yarns and accessories on our website. Life has just been too busy to get that done. But that's about to change. I'll be adding more items as quickly as I can...like all of our needles, some yarn, and even our roving! I've marked everything on the website down to cost...that's 45% off of retail price. I've always hated the idea of marking things down a little bit at a time. So I'm going to give you the best discount that I possibly can at the very beginning. AND..I still have a lot of door prizes and small gifts to hand out. So with each order, you will receive either a small gift or a door prize. That combined with a great discount makes this one of the easiest decisions you'll make in 2022.
Start checking out the inventory we have left...and be sure to tell all of your knitting, crocheting, spinning and weaving friends that The Yarn Haven is going out with a big bang!
